J-Song: Final Distance (Utada Hikaru)

Comments

Oddly enough, the first time I heard Final Distance was it's techno remix version. It wasn't until I decided that I like this song did I hear the original one. Hehe. Same goes with Hikaru, which I think is still my favorite after all this time.:)

Ay ako rin, hit and miss. Hikki may not be my favorite artist but with all of her albums, I usually have one or two favorites.
Yes, right. For me, she hasn't taken the level of Laruku (na usually when I hear a new song 80% like ko na siya..ahaha). But she has some really good songs. ^_^

I didn't like the remix version. Lol. ^^;;
wow ngayon lang kaya ako nakakilala ng mga hindi masyadong hikki worshippers. XDDDD

pasensya na, i just worship the ground she walks on. hehe.

i admit her voice is not exactly phenomenal. but that's just it. hindi sya yung tipong bumibirit na singer, which, unfortunately, is the trend right now. what endears me to hikki is her natural ability to create songs. it's so freaking effortless for her & she does it with so much flair. how often do you find musicians who create their own stuff?

anyway, enough about me blabbing about her. i love this song too. but wait till you hear passion. :D
Yes, I agree. That's why I said that even so, there's something about her songs that's really good. OMG, Passion. Hahaha. XD I love that too. LSS-worthy!
I've got a copy of Passion but I misplaced it somewhere in the numerous cds na na burn ko... I'll find it later hehe.

Oi, even as you say, Presea, that her voice isn't phenomenal, I really like it. It's so natural and soothing, I guess that's why alot of her songs are well liked. On her songwriting, it's talent. Anyone can sing or play, but how many can write music? :)
